This is one of the project's central framing devices. It is useful because it explains why the system repeatedly emphasizes:

Another persistent idea is that raw connectivity is not enough. The useful progression is:
- raw network
- typed graph
- structured information
- operational intelligence
Synchronization
Blockchain-era systems are framed here as adding shared timing and shared state to value systems that were previously fragmented or delayed. The synchronization gap — temporal, spatial, geographic — is where most of the value loss in conventional finance lives.
