Blockchain: A distributed digital ledger whose entries are grouped into blocks, cryptographically chained together, and replicated across a peer-to-peer network.
Bridge.xyz Integration: The fiat on/off-ramp service used by ƒxyz to connect traditional banking rails (ACH, Wire, SEPA, PIX, SPEI) with on-chain stablecoins and tokens across multiple chains.
CBDCs (Central Bank Digital Currencies): Digital currency issued directly by a central bank, distinct from commercial bank money or digital currencies.
Celestial Registry: The ƒxyz system that maps members to named stars, forming a unique identity layer tied to astronomical data. Stars are organized into Rings based on contribution score.
Compliance Tools: Software and processes that help organizations meet regulatory requirements such as KYC, AML, and sanctions screening.
Confidential Transfer: A Token-2022 extension on Solana that enables encrypted token balances and transfer amounts, preserving privacy while remaining network-verified.
Contribution Score: A numeric value reflecting a member's participation and impact within the ƒxyz Network, used to determine Ring eligibility and governance weight.
Digital Currencies: Digital currencies secured by cryptography and typically operating on decentralized blockchain networks.
Cube: The Platonic solid representing Earth and stability in the ƒxyz geometric token system.
Currency Routing: The algorithmic process of finding the optimal path to convert between currencies, considering exchange rates, fees, and available liquidity across payment rails.
DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization): An organization governed by digital agreements and member proposals rather than centralized leadership. ƒxyz uses a DAO structure for governance decisions, with proposals submitted and voted on through the platform.
Data Analytics: Quantitative analysis of financial and network data to surface insights, trends, and risk assessments.
Decentralized Governance: Distribution of decision-making authority across network participants rather than concentrating it in a central body.
Digital Assets: Any asset that exists in digital form with an associated right of use, including tokens, NFTs, and digital securities.
Dodecahedron: The Platonic solid representing wisdom and knowledge in the ƒxyz system, mapped to the House of Wisdom (H) token.
ECN Order Book: An Electronic Communication Network order book that matches buy and sell orders using price-time priority. ƒxyz implements an ECN for trading token pairs.
FIBO (Financial Industry Business Ontology): A standardized ontology maintained by the EDM Council for describing financial instruments, business entities, and processes. ƒxyz references FIBO for its knowledge graph schema.
FIX (Financial Information eXchange): An electronic communications protocol for real-time exchange of securities transaction information, widely used in institutional trading.
Fixie Agents: AI assistants powered by the Letta framework that operate within the ƒxyz platform. Fixies provide conversational support, data queries, and automated analysis, with tiered capabilities (free, standard, premium).
Florin (FLR / ƒ): The primary value token of the ƒxyz Network, represented by the Icosahedron. Implemented as a Token-2022 SPL token on Solana with confidential transfer capability.
GCN (Graph Convolutional Networks): Neural networks that operate on graph-structured data by aggregating features from neighboring nodes, used for node classification and link prediction.
GNN (Graph Neural Networks): A family of neural network architectures designed to process graph-structured data, applicable to financial network analysis and fraud detection.

House of Wisdom (H): The knowledge and governance token of the ƒxyz Network, represented by the Dodecahedron. Named after the historical Bayt al-Hikma library.
Icosahedron: The Platonic solid representing currency and value in the ƒxyz geometric system, mapped to the Florin (ƒ) token.
Joule (JLE): The energy and utility token of the ƒxyz Network, represented by the Tetrahedron. Used for computational resources and network operations.
Lagrange Protocol: The historical working name for the ƒxyz Network protocol, referencing Joseph-Louis Lagrange's contributions to mathematics and mechanics.
Modular Architecture: A system design approach using interchangeable, independently deployable components. ƒxyz uses a monorepo with separate packages for trading, GraphQL, Solana, and design system.
Neo4j Knowledge Graph: The graph database at the core of ƒxyz, storing members, organizations, stars, tokens, circles, and their relationships as a richly connected knowledge graph.

Persona: A member's identity configuration within the ƒxyz Network, including display name, role, avatar, and associated wallets.
Platonic Solids: The five regular convex polyhedra (Tetrahedron, Cube, Octahedron, Dodecahedron, Icosahedron) used as the geometric foundation for the ƒxyz token system, each mapping to a distinct token and domain.
Price-Time Priority: The matching algorithm used in ECN order books where orders at the best price are filled first, and orders at the same price are filled in the order they were received.
Ring A: The highest tier in the Celestial Registry, reserved for members with a contribution score of 1,000 or above. Ring A stars are IAU/WGSN-named stars (454 total).
Ring B: The middle tier in the Celestial Registry, for members with a contribution score of 300 or above. Ring B contains 8,447 bright stars from the HYG catalog (magnitude < 6.5).
Ring C: The entry tier in the Celestial Registry, open to all members. Ring C contains 10,000 extended catalog stars.
RWA Data Pipeline: The data ingestion system that pulls tokenized real-world asset data from sources like RWA.xyz into the ƒxyz platform for display and analysis.
Sigil: A member's celestial identity mark in ƒxyz, composed of their claimed star, spectral class, and Ring tier. Displayed on profiles and membership badges.
Soulbound NFT: A non-transferable NFT permanently bound to its owner's wallet, used in ƒxyz for membership proofs and star claims that cannot be traded or sold.
Spectral Class: The astronomical classification of a star by its surface temperature and color (O, B, A, F, G, K, M from hottest to coolest), used in the ƒxyz Celestial Registry to assign visual identity.
Squads Multisig: A Solana-native multisignature wallet program used by ƒxyz for treasury management, requiring multiple signers to authorize transactions.
Stablecoins: Digital currencies designed to maintain a stable value relative to a reference asset such as USD. ƒxyz supports USDC, USDT, PYUSD, and USDB.
Star Archetype: A personality or role archetype derived from a star's spectral class and constellation in the Celestial Registry, adding narrative meaning to a member's Sigil.

Tetrahedron: The Platonic solid representing energy and power in the ƒxyz geometric system, mapped to the Joule (JLE) token.
Token-2022: The Solana token program (also called Token Extensions) that adds features like confidential transfers, non-transferability, and group membership to SPL tokens. ƒxyz uses Token-2022 for Florin and Star NFTs.
Tokenized RWA (Real World Assets): Physical or financial assets (real estate, bonds, commodities) represented as tokens on a blockchain. ƒxyz tracks tokenized RWA data via the RWA Data Pipeline.
Tokenomics: The economic design of a token system, including supply, distribution, utility, and incentive mechanisms.
Verification / Endorsement: The process by which members or entities confirm claims about identity, credentials, or contributions within the ƒxyz Network, recorded as graph relationships in Neo4j.
ƒ(xyz) Governance Token: The protocol-level governance token granting voting rights on network proposals, parameter changes, and treasury allocations.
